VE Testing
VE testing is usually available at Hamfests. Check with the VEC/VE to be sure what must and what may be brought the exam. The following is required but they may wish 2 copies of documents:
Required fee (check with VE on amount and method)
Your Driver's License or a photo ID and a copy of it
The original and a copy of your current FCC license (if upgrading)
Original and a copy of any Certificates of Successful Completion of Examination (CSCE) for which you have not yet received an FCC license.

Testing will include all FCC Elements for new and/or upgraded applicants. Call to let us know you are coming OR if any special testing accommodations will be required. Walk-ins are welcome. Bring the following items to the testing session:
There is a $14.00 Exam Fee (Cash, Check, or Money Order please).
Proper picture ID is required. Driver's License or Student ID accepted.
Social Security Number or Taxpayer ID is required on the FCC Form.
If upgrading: bring your Original Amateur License AND and a PHOTOCOPY
of it to the exam session (no exceptions).If you have previously tested for FCC Elements and desire credit, BRING
your Original CSCE plus a PHOTOCOPY of it.Bring a black ink pen and a number #2 pencil.
You may bring a Calculator as long as the memory function (if any) can be "flushed" before you take the exam.
